We kindly ask you for your understanding that animals are not allowed in our hotel.

We offer a big parking lot in front of the hotel as well as an underground garage for free in both summer and winter.

What are the opening hours of the reception?

Do you offer Wi-fi in the room/hotel?
We offer a wireless Internet access throughout the hotel for free. You get the password at the reception.

Are we allowed to smoke in the hotel?
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Thank you for your understanding. In our dining room, at the hotel bar and in the rooms we request you not to smoke. There is an ashtray on every balcony.

Are children allowed in the hotel?
Of course your offspring is welcome in our hotel! The can play and romp about in our playroom. Moreover, the gorgeous region of the Kitzbühel Alps offers numerous, fantastic excursion destinations for the young and the old!

How can I buy a gift voucher?
Give your beloved ones a treat - our gift vouchers are perfect to do so. Culinary delights, relaxing wellness treatments or unforgettable holidays - simply order the voucher online and present happiness.

How can I redeem my gift voucher?
If you want to redeem your voucher, simply contact our reception team. They can tell you, whether your preferred time, room, treatment or restaurant table are still available.

How can I register for/unsubscribe the newsletter?
On our website at "Service" you find the navigation point Subscribe newsletter. If you want to unsubscribe, you simply have to click at the link at the end of every newsletter.

How can I order a hotel brochure?
If you want to browse through our hotel brochure and dream of your holidays or indulge in memories, you can simply contact our reception team. We would be delighted to send you our hotel brochure for free.

Do I have to make a prepayment?

When can I check-in/check out?
On your arrival day your rooms are ready from 3 p.m. On your departure day we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10 a.m. You can deposit your lugguage in the hotel and refresh yourself in an own bathroom.

Is there a hotel shuttle, e.g. to the next airport or train station?
We would be happy to bring you to the next train station. Unfortunately, we do not offer a shuttle to the next airports in Innsbruck and Salzburg. However, we would be happy to organise a taxi for you or to help you find the right train or bus.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accpet cash or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and EC cards. 
We only accept private credit cards, but no corporate credit cards or prepaid cards (e.g.: ÖAMTC, Amazon Lufthansa, …).

If you want to depart before 8 a.m. we kindly ask you to pay the bill the day before until 9 p.m. Apart from that you can pay the bill on your day of departure at the reception from 8 a.m.

What's the visitor's tax and why do I have to pay it?
The visitor's tax is a tourism levy to the local community. It's used for e.g. rubbish collection, canal dues or the maintenance of touristic infrastructure such as mountain railways, hiking trails or swimming pools etc.

I lost/forgot something in my room. What can I do?
Please contact our reception team. Our rooms are cleaned daily so that your valuables are probably found by our housekeeping team.

Our Cancellation Terms in Summer

For all bookings we guarantee a free cancellation up to 22 days before arrival. Afterwards the following cancellation conditions apply:

• Up to 1 week before arrival 70 % of the booking price
• In the last week before arrival, for later arrivals or early departures  90 % of the booking price are due

Our Cancellation Terms in Winter

• Up to 14 days before arrival - no cancellation fee
• Up to 1 week before arrival - 70 %
• From 1 week before arrival - 90 %
• In case of late arrival or early departure we charge 100 % of the agreed price.

Not only according to the current situation, but in principle we ALWAYS recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

The Hotel Cancellation Plus insurance not only offers you protection against costs in the event of cancellation or early departure, but also insures, among other things, the costs of helicopter accommodation, so that you can enjoy your holiday in the mountains in the best possible protection.

Hotel Cancellation Plus and Premium cover, among other things, the following reasons in the event of cancellation or trip interruption by the guest:

• Illness of the guest with COVID-19
• Disease of a close relative or a person living in the same household with COVID-19 and the presence of the guest is urgently needed at home

Is the outdoor pool heated? What are the opening hours of the pool?
Yes, our outdoor pool is heated (31°C in winter, 28 ° in summer). It's open from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.

How long is the sauna area open?
Our wellness area Latschenkiefer SPA opens daily from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. In case of bad weather we also open earlier.

Are children allowed in the sauna area?
The whole sauna area is a nude area and a bijou of peace and relaxation. Therefore we ask you for your understanding that children until the the age of 16 are not allowed in the sauna area.

Do you offer special wellness treatments?
Yes, we offer numerous, relaxing wellbeing treatments such as massages, peelings, wellbeing packages and much more. Book your appointment at the reception.

Do you provide bathrobes?
Cosy bathrobes and towels are provided in a bag in your room for free (for the duration of your stay).

May I use the wellness area as external guest as well?
Thanks to our attractive Day Spa offers also external guests have the possiblity to relax and unwind in our 800 m2 wellness area "Latschenkiefer SPA". We also provide a bag with bathrobe & slippers for your Day Spa visit.
Due to Covid-19 at the moment a Day Spa vor external guests is not possible)

Can I also book my wellness treatment in advance?
On our website you find the navigation point wellness treatments where you get an overview about our offered massages and treatments.
If you want to book your wellness treatment in advance, please contact our reception team. If you book 7 days before arrival you get a reduction of 5 % on your treatment.

Until when and to which conditions can I cancel my wellness treatment?
Cancellations without costs are possible until 24 hours before your appointment.

Do you have a restaurant?
Our hotel has a hotel restaurant as well as an à la carte restaurant. In the hotel restaurant you enjoy culinary delights as part of our half board arrangement. You can also book a table in our à la carte restaurant.

Mealtimes: When do you serve breakfast/dinner?
Our rich breakfast buffet is served from 07:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. In the evening we serve a delicious 4-course menu to your choice incl. salad buffet from 6.30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

I suffer from food intolerance/allergy. Do you also offer gluten-/lactose-free food, vegetarian meals etc.?
We make an effort to fulfil all of your wishes. Please contact our reception team ahead and inform us about your allergy/intolerance so that we are able to fulfil your wishes.

With the guest ticket you get a great deal of entry prices and fees throughout PillerseeTal at a better price!
In addition, all local trains (except IC, EC and RailJet) are included in the guest ticket and can be used without paying extra!
The PillerseeTal Card is available with the guest ticket at a reduced price.

The Hair Salon Unterrainer is situated just beside the hotel. We would be happy to make an appointment for you.

Are there any shopping malls or shops in Fieberbrunn and nearby?
We have many small shops to buy souvenirs, handicrafts and regional specialities in Fieberbrunn. Shopping malls are found in Wörgl (ca. 30 min), Innsbruck (ca. 1 h), Salzburg (ca. 1 h) an.

Do you offer guided hiking tours?
The tourist office offers two guided hiking tours with the hiking guide. (registration requested)

Do you offer any special hiking service?
Yes, our hotel offers a shoe dryer, a rental for hiking poles and maps as well as an information point with hiking tips and weather information at the reception for free. In addition, we also prepare a packed lunch on request.

How long does it take to get to the next mountain railway?
You find 3 mountain railways in close vicinity: Bergbahn Fieberbrunn (1,6 km), Pillersee (5,8 km) and Waidring-Steinplatte (16,5 km). They are easily accesible by car or bus.

Do you offer guided bike tours?
Yes, our bike guide is enthusiastic about getting on the bikes and showing you the most beautiful places of the region. (registration requested)

Do you offer any special bike service?
Yes, our hotel offers a lockable bike storage room, lavatory and drying room as well as a free rental of helmets and rucksack, tool kit and bike pump and much more.

Do you rent bikes?
We have two bike rentals in the region: Sport Widmann at the valley station of the Bergbahn Fieberbrunn and Sport Günther, which is only 50 m from the Hotel Alte Post. Our hotel has an e-bike rental (for an extra charge).

Are there any golf courses in the region?
We have 15 magnificent golf courses around the Pillerseetal (within an hour car drive). Experience special golf pleasure amidst a dreamlike mountain scenery. You find more detailed information about golf courses in the region here.

You find 3 mountain railways in close vicinity: Bergbahn Fieberbrunn (1,6 km), Pillersee (5,8 km) and Waidring-Steinplatte (16,5 km). They are easily accesible by car or bus.
Thanks to the connecting mountain railway between the two ski areas Fieberbrunn and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang you enjoy unlimited skiing fun in the biggest ski area of Austria (270 km of pistes).

Do you have a ski bus in Fieberbrunn? Where is the next bus stop?
The next bus stop is only 50 m opposite the hotel. The bus drives approx every 30 minutes.

Can I by my ski pass also in the hotel?
Yes, you can buy your ski pass also at the reception in order to avoid long waiting hours and queueing at the ski lifts.

Do you offer a storage room for skies and ski boots?
Yes, we offer a secured and heated ski storage room. The room has an separat access or you can enter it via the lift. Please do not go through the hotel in ski boots.

Where do I find the next ski rental/ski school?
The next ski rental and ski school are situated directly at the valley station of the mountain railway Bergbahn Fieberbrunn.

Do I get a reduction on the ski rental?
Yes, as a guest of our wellness hotel Alte Post**** you get a 10 % reduction on the ski rental.

Is there a risk of avalanches and do you have insider tips for slopes and tour routes?
Our reception team would be delighted to inform you about the best slopes in our ski area, the current avalanche risk, weather forecasts and much more.
