Traditional hotel in Fieberbrunn – a fascinating history

The Alte Post – advanced solutions such as the installation of an oil and central heating system at the beginning of the sixties, a butcher’s shop, which has been the reception and lobby since 2001, a salon that became a seminar room in 2014 – so much has been carried out in the hotel by the Eder family.

Amazing fact from the past 100 years

In 1912, the father of Senior Manager Johann Eder acquired "Gasthof Neuwirt” inn, including the post office. The sixties, seventies and eighties were characterized by reconstruction work and various extensions. Johann Eder and his wife Marlene have had the dining room renovated several times, built new guest and comfort rooms, designed a cellar bar and installed an oil and central heating system.

With the turn of the millennium, work continued in this traditional hotel in Fieberbrunn. In 2001, the reception and hotel lobby were built on what was a butcher’s shop, the dining room has been able to accommodate 180 guests since 2004, the Latschenkiefer spa and the Latschenkiefer suites were built in 2011, and the Spielberg double room was renovated in 2013. The highlights are the conversion of the salon to a modern seminar room and the establishment of an innovative fitness room in 2014, as well as the renovation of the kitchen in 2016.
